The most popular wide and long aprons were sewn from smooth linen and cotton fabric (e.g. inlet) and they were embellished with white embroidery along the sides, along the bottom part and at the end of ties. The aprons sewn from fabric with small stripes, usually white and red. They were also narrower and shorter and they were often embellished in the bottom part and in the middle. Tulle aprons became common after 1900. They were embellished mainly with embroidery of geometric patterns. White embroidery was less common. The motifs were composed along the sides or along the bottom or in the bottom part across the entire width.
